Ethics - the path of smart selfishness.

So civility is something more than organizational behavior that is merely "Consciously Motivated," It must be 'Ethical' as well. 

To be "Ethical" is, at the very least, to be 'Humanistic', which by definition means having the attitude that people are precious and should be treated accordingly insofar as possible. 

Secular Humanism is like a house built on sand, when the going gets rough - when business is bad or strife is abroad - secular humanistic attitudes may be easily blown away. 

The problem with secular humanism is that it say nothing about why human beings are precious, nor why they should be treated accordingly. Consequently, secular humanism, being unrooted in any kind of theology, is often a fair-weather phenomenon. 

This is why we must define civil behavior not simply as "Ethical," but specifically as "Ethical in submission to a higher power." 
For if , as said, light, truth, and love are all synonymous of a sort of God, and if we were to truly submit to these things, our behavior would be godly even though we may not think of ourselves as religious. 

To grow, we must learn to 'Discern' between that which is self-destructive and that which is Self-Constructive. 

So selfishness isn't always a simple matter. 

The path of 'Stupid' selfishness try's to Avoid all pain where the path of "Smart" selfishness discerns which pain or suffering, particularly emotional suffering, is constructive and which is unconstructive. 

Ethics as a value - sees no value whatsoever in unconstructive 

suffering where there would be no value inherent in a future headache destined to come, either per SE or to Me. 

So in conclusion within what can no longer be discounted is in this whole process of meeting and solving all reform problems so life in america can re-establish meaning once again, these problems call forth the necessity for exceptional courage of ethical wisdom in all national affairs.

Simple English: Problems are the cutting edge that distinguishes between continual success or doomed to certain failure.

It is only because of problems that we grow mentally and Spiritually.

The alternative- not to meet the demands of Life on Life's terms? 

We will end up losing more than not due to most attempting to 'Skirt' problems rather than meet them head on as ones who should know better attempt to get out of them rather than suffer through them. 

The cure: healthy statesmen that do not dread but actually first duty welcome problems who were wise and aware that it is only through the pain of confronting and resolving problems that we learn and grow.
